Nicolas Verkant, involved in the 2015 edition of the Hydrocontest, explains us his mission within Hydros, in collaboration with ABB.

Engineering and naval architecture schools from all around the globe are rallying together to take up the Hydrocontest’s challenge for maritime energy efficiency. Following the closure of registrations and review of the applications received, this 3^rd edition officially counts 26 teams representing 12 countries from Europe, Asia-Pacific and South America, including 5 nations participating for the very first time.

The location and dates of the next Hydrocontest have been confirmed: the 2016 edition will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland, at Pyramides de Vidy right by Lake Geneva for the second consecutive year, from Sunday 24 to Sunday 31 July.

The Hydros Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of pre-enrolment for the 3^rd Hydrocontest, to take place next summer. Teams are invited to read the new official rules and to submit their full application packs by 15 January 2016.
